3 Vande Bharat Will Be Inaugurate on 7th Nov

Indian Railways is all set to inaugurate three new Vande Bharat Express services on November 7, 2025, further expanding the semi-high-speed network across northern and eastern India. The official notification, issued by the Northern Railway’s Mechanical Department, Baroda House, New Delhi, confirms the rollout of these new trains connecting key regional corridors.

3 New Vande Bharat Express Trains and Routes

According to the Railway Board’s order, three pairs of Vande Bharat Express trains will begin operations on November 7. The details are as follows:

Railways Gearing Up for Smooth Inauguration

The Railway Ministry has instructed all concerned zones to complete rake positioning and readiness at the respective originating stations before the inauguration.
The circular mentions that:

  • Rake IC2050 will be based at BSBS (Varanasi Division, NER)
  • Rake IC2051 will originate from LJN (Lucknow Division, NER)
  • Rake IC2061 will operate under FZR (Firozpur Division, NR)

The inauguration of these trains aligns with Indian Railways’ continuous expansion of the Vande Bharat network, which aims to provide faster, safer, and more comfortable intercity travel.

Boost to Regional Connectivity

These new trains will serve key routes catering to passenger demand during the festive and winter travel seasons.

  • The Firozpur Delhi Vande Bharat will benefit passengers from Punjab and NCR.
  • The Lucknow Saharanpur Vande Bharat will enhance connectivity within Uttar Pradesh.
  • The Banaras Khurja Vande Bharat will connect eastern Uttar Pradesh with western regions, fostering economic and tourism growth.

Indian Railways’ Modernisation Drive

With these additions, the total count of operational Vande Bharat Express trains will cross the 80-train mark, reflecting the success of the government’s initiative to modernize passenger services.
Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw continues to emphasize efficiency, safety, and punctuality as the key pillars of the Vande Bharat project.
