To accommodate the increased passenger rush during the Holi festival, North Western Railway (NWR) has announced a special weekly train (04829/04830) between Jodhpur and Gorakhpur. This initiative aims to ensure smooth and comfortable travel for passengers heading home for the festival. The Holi Special train will operate from March 6, 2025, to March 28, 2025, running four times during this period.
Train Schedule and Coach Composition
The Jodhpur-Gorakhpur-Jodhpur Holi Special will follow a scheduled route with multiple stoppages at key stations, catering to passengers from different regions. The train will feature 18 coaches, including:
- 02 Second AC coaches
- 04 Third AC coaches
- 06 Sleeper coaches
- 04 General coaches
- 02 Guard coaches
With this initiative, Indian Railways is taking proactive steps to handle the festive rush efficiently. Passengers are advised to book their tickets in advance to secure their seats and avoid last-minute inconvenience. This special service is expected to significantly ease congestion on regular trains, ensuring a hassle-free journey for travelers.
