In a major boost to long-distance rail connectivity, Indian Railways has announced the launch of a new weekly express train between Daurai (Ajmer), Rajasthan and Godda, Jharkhand, with operations commencing from July 26, 2025. This much-awaited train service has been introduced by the North Western Railway (NWR) and approved by the Ministry of Railways under the Railway Board’s latest operational plan.
The 19604 Daurai – Godda Express will depart from Daurai every Sunday at 15:30 hrs, making scheduled stops at key stations such as Ringas, Rewari, Delhi, Tundla, Govindpuri (Kanpur), Subedarganj (Prayagraj), Jhajha, and finally arriving at Godda at 22:20 hrs the next day.

On the return journey, the 19604 Godda – Daurai Express will leave from Godda every Tuesday at 05:00 hrs, reaching Daurai the next day at 17:20 hrs. The train covers a wide stretch across multiple states, enhancing connectivity across Rajasthan, Haryana, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, and Jharkhand.

- Major stations en route include Delhi, Kanpur, Prayagraj, Aligarh, Tundla, Etawah, Bhabua Road, Sasaram, Gaya, and Deen Dayal Upadhyay Jn.
- The train will serve high-demand regions, especially beneficial for long-distance travelers from eastern and northern India.

Bookings for the Godda–Daurai Express are expected to open shortly via the IRCTC website and all major reservation counters.
