In a significant update for railway passengers, the Indian Railways has announced the cancellation and diversion of several key trains operating from Delhi Sarai Rohilla Railway Station between July 20 and July 28, 2025. The disruptions are due to non-interlocking work being undertaken to install a new Electronic Interlocking Panel, aimed at enhancing operational safety and efficiency.

According to North Western Railway CPRO Shashi Kiran, the upgrade is a part of long-term infrastructure modernization to make train operations more technologically advanced and secure. The non-interlocking process, while essential, will temporarily impact passengers traveling to and from Rajasthan, Maharashtra, and other regions via Sarai Rohilla.
