Indian Railways Adds More Special Trains for the Festive Rush

The Katra services are part of a wider effort by Indian Railways to accommodate the expected surge in passenger traffic during Dussehra and Diwali.

According to the railway announcement, 102 special trains are being introduced to improve connectivity during the festive period. These services will primarily operate through the Solapur Division and connect important destinations including Mumbai, Chennai, Latur, Kolhapur and Kalaburagi.
