Mandore Superfast Express, one of the most popular trains connecting western Rajasthan with the national capital Delhi, is set to receive a major upgrade. The Indian Railways is preparing to replace its existing rake with a new Amrit Bharat train rake, bringing modern amenities and improved passenger comfort to the Jodhpur-Jaipur-Delhi route.
According to railway officials, the new rake is expected to arrive in Jodhpur next month, after which the Mandore Superfast Express will begin operating with the upgraded coaches.
Mandore Express to Become Rajasthan’s First AC Amrit Bharat Train
The move is part of the railway’s plan to introduce Amrit Bharat-style train services from Jodhpur. A new AC Amrit Bharat rake had recently reached Jodhpur and was initially being considered for use on the Jodhpur-Mau route. However, the plan could not be completed.
The rake was subsequently sent from Jodhpur to Delhi on Friday morning. Meanwhile, a separate new rake is expected to arrive in Jodhpur next month for the Mandore Express.
Once the replacement is completed, Mandore Superfast Express is expected to become the first AC Amrit Bharat train in Rajasthan, offering passengers a combination of AC and non-AC accommodation along with several modern passenger amenities.
What Will Change for Mandore Express Passengers?
The upgraded Amrit Bharat rake is expected to make the journey between Jodhpur, Jaipur and Delhi more comfortable and convenient.
